All of the testing services are available at our 4 outpatient clinics located in Altoona, Grimes, Indianola and Madrid. Substance Abuse Testing
Substance abuse in the workplace is costing the U.S. industry over $100 billion each year. According to the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA), one in seven U.S. workers abuse drugs, resulting in loss of productivity, increase in accidents and absenteeism, and higher health insurance costs.
Testing services include:
- Rapid testing for 5 or 9 panels.
- Pre-employment, random, and post accident testing
- Same day results available for negative tests.
- Results of the rapid testing faxed or mailed to designated employer representative.
- On-site collections are available, additional charges may apply.
DOT Drug Testing
All collectors are trained and certified in accordance with DOT regulations. Our collection sites are secure and comfortable facilities that allow for confidential drug test collections.
The DOT drug screen is a urine test for for five drugs:
- Amphetamines
- Cocaine
- Marijuana
- Opiates
- Phencyclidine (PCP)
All test results are handled in a prompt professional manner. Your company's designated employer representative is advised of the positivie or negative findings.
Hair Follicle Testing
Hair follicle testing is a process in which hair specimens are analyzed for illegal drugs. When a drug is ingested, it enters the blood stream and is broken down to a specific metabolite. When a hair sample is screened, both the parent drug and the metabolite are isolated.
In our five panel test, drugs analyzed include: cocaine, opiates, methamphetamines, phencyclidine (PCP), and marijuana. If a Medical Officer is wanted or needed to review results, an additional charge does apply.
